Decking

More uses than conventional decking

Ideal for patios, Walkways, decking refurbishments, hot tub surrounds, porches, entrance ways, restaurants, bars etc. The tiles can easily be cut to shape and can even be used in situations where conventional decking would not be suitable such as balconies and roof gardens, or where to install a conventional deck would mean the removal or digging up of the existing surface to accommodate the decking joists.

The unique modular tiles couldn’t be easier to use. Each tile is backed with a weatherproof polypropylene base that simply clicks together; In fact a whole floor can be laid by one person in just a few minutes or an hour or so.

No Fixings, no adhesives, no mess! Easy fit, installs in minutes…strong, durable hardwood timer, weatherproof polypropylene base, ecologically certified hardwood timber.

Before and After

Installation

First step- Measuring Your Deck
Simply measure the area that you wish to cover and order sufficient tiles.

1 tile = 30.5 cm x 30.5 cm (1 sq ft)

1 Box of 12 tiles covers 1.08 m2 (12 sq ft)

Second step- Installing Your Deck

This operation could not be easier. Simply align the interlocking tabs, press, click and you’re done! The state-of-the-art design requires no nails, adhesives, sanding or staining (optional, we recommend that you use a sealer on our wood products) and remains stationary without cement or anchoring.
Should it be necessary the tiles can easily be cut to shape, with a handsaw or jigsaw to accommodate pipes, posts or boundary walls.

Third and final step-Installation on uneven surfaces

The tiles can cope with up to 5mm of disparity in height from one tile to the next but holes or drops under tile joints would need to be repaired or bridged. Particularly cracked or uneven surfaces may require repairing, or the use of a porous rubber underlay could be used. Please ask us for details if this is something which is of interest to you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everyone has questions about new products, and our product is no different. We have included a short list of our most frequently asked questions to help you. If you have more questions, please feel free to contact us.

Q: What about irregular shapes?
A:  Mark your tile, just as you would with any wood product before cutting. Flip the tile over and remove any screws which will be in your way and cut as you would any normal wood tile.

Q: What if I want to change my pattern or integrate different species of wood for that individual, “just right” look?
A: All you have to do is unhook the interlocking tabs and place your desired tile in for a stunning personal touch!

Q: Why is there a space between each wood piece?
A: It is to allow for drainage and ease of maintenance.

Q: Will the interlocking base deteriorate from being in the sun?
A: Our interlocking base is made from a high density polypropylene resin with a integrated UV protectant giving it a long life.

Q: What about climatic changes?
A: All of our wood species are dried to low moisture contents and this allows vast temperature and humidity extremes without splitting.

Q: Once it’s put down, will it move?
A: No, because of the total weight of the tiles interlocked, It will not allow movement. Simply put, the weight of the tiles spread over the area covered, is too heavy for a person to move them.

Q: How is this attached to the floor? Is it glued down?
A: No, It’s not attached to the floor at all, It is attached to itself with our interlocking tabs, This way it can be installed easily onto a variety of different surfaces and also removed easily for example if you are moving house or want to move it round for a different look. Your imagination is the only limit!
